How to Expunge your Record
Advice regarding the correct procedures for filling the type of Expungement you have. Information applies to filing in Bakersfield only and includes which forms to use and where and how to file.
Small Claims
Information for people looking to make a claim in small claims courts. Please note, attorneys are not allowed in small claims court and the maximum you can sue for is $10,000.

Unlawful Detainer
Unlawful Detainers are the process one goes through in order to evict someone. We have separate pages for landlords and tenants, including the procedures for legal eviction and what to do if you have an unlawful detainer given to you.
State Prison Library Requests
A list of several organizations who offer help to inmates and prisoners to secure library requests including the PLO, which also offer resource guides on topics such as conditions, parole suitability, immigration, and criminal law information.
