SERVICES Reference assistance: Library staff is available to guide and instruct patrons to appropriate legal materials.
Photocopies: A self-service copy machine is available for 8 1/2" x 11" and 11" x 17" sheets at $.20 per copy. If you have double sided copies the machine will charge you for each side. The copier accepts bills, change and copy cards. Copy cards may be purchased in $5 increments. Purchasing a copy card lowers the price of the copies to approximately $.16. The library keeps a limited amount of change on hand.
Word Processing: The library offers eight computers with Microsoft Word to aid in creating forms that are not judicial council forms. There is no charge to use the computers, however, it is $ .15 per page to print.
Online services: The library also offers various online services for research. Currently we have access to Westlaw, LexisNexis, and BNA. **For more information see our library collection page.
Internet Access: The Library offers public Internet access, to aid in legal research on four computer terminals. Currently, there is a one hour time limit in place. We also reserve the right to ask you to forfeit your computer to another patron if you are NOT doing legal research.
Judicial Council Forms via the Internet: Forms can be filled out online and then printed. We charge $. 15 per page. You can also access these forms for free from any computer at www.courtinfo.ca.gov
Fax service: To receive fax copies of materials from the library patrons must provide library staff with a citation to the material needed. The charge to have material faxed is $1.00 for each page. Patrons may also either send or receive faxes at the library to/from another location. The above charges apply.
Typewriter: A typewriter is available free to all patrons.
MCLE Tapes: The library offers various audio and video tapes that can be rented for 3 days for $3.00 per set of tapes.
